A place to come home to yourself.
Therapy isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about reconnecting with yourself after years of surviving, performing, shrinking, or carrying more than you were meant to carry alone.
My role isn't to tell you who to become. It's to create a space where your full humanity is welcome.
Why I Do This Work
Many people arrive in therapy feeling exhausted from trying to explain themselves, defend themselves, or fit into spaces that were never built for their full humanity.
I believe healing happens differently.
It happens when we are met with curiosity instead of correction.
When we no longer have to earn belonging.
When we can finally exhale.
Safety Before Change
Therapy should move at your pace. Healing is never forced
Curiosity over
Judgement
Understanding creates change more often than criticism ever can
Coming Home to Yourself
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s reconnection
Meet Ananda Sotherland, LPCC-S
Therapist. Educator. Lifelong learner.
For more than two decades, I've held space for people navigating trauma, identity, burnout, and the quiet exhaustion of feeling like they have to become someone else to belong.
I don't believe healing asks us to become someone new. I believe it invites us to return to ourselves- with greater self-trust, self-compassion, and connection.
I created Nurtured Soul Therapy to be a place where you can exhale, be fully seen, and remember that your whole humanity is welcome here.
There is space for all of you here.
Whether you're looking for support, healing, or simply a place where you no longer have to explain yourself, you're welcome here.
